We were on a break!
Posted by Cas on 14/04/2009

|
The last news item stated that we weren't on a break. Well, that sounds kinda stupid now, since our latest achievements probably have a lot more to do with beer and women than with playing metalcore. I don't know if things are going to change soon but at least we have another show planned! We'll try to finish some new material to freshen... Read more » |
Halftime: tour and other crap
Posted by Cas on 06/06/2008

It’s been a while so this'll be a long one. For those of you who don't like to read: just check out the picture, I ordered Rik to put a hot chick there.
The first half of 2008 has passed and it's time for an update. As most of you know, we played the TGFP tour. At the start of that tour we very consequently tried to keep our website... Read more » |
Hangover harbour havoc

Barely resurrected from the hell that's called a hangover, we crammed ourselves in a car and drove to Rotterdam. Entertaining ourselves with stupid one-liners, lame jokes and the funny voices programmed on the TomTom system we got to the Waterfront. The place wasn't that easy to find because it was partially hidden under a road. Anyway, we... Read more » |
The tour continues...

After kicking ass at the Altstadt last week, DOM and VB continued to trade glory for passion. This time we ruined the evening for the citizens of Asten, some lame-ass town a couple of trees and rocks away from Helmond. The night started out pretty good, filling up our empty stomachs at the local snackbar. After that delightful diner, we... Read more » |
Trading glory for passion kickoff

Okay it has started! We're loose! Yesterday DOM and Verona Beach started their tour across the southern regions of Holland. Everyone who came to the Altstadt witnessed a very tight and loud show. It wasn't that crowded but it was very nice anyway. Having a chat with the guys (and girl) of the other bands, drinking beer, it's all part of... Read more » |
Happy new year!!!
Posted by Cas on 02/01/2008

Dawn of Mankind wishes you a happy new year and the best for 2008! We look back at a pretty lame year. In 2007 we didn't accomplish much, played only a few shows and wrote only three or four songs. Most of the few gigs we did were awesome though. In 2008 we'll try to work a bit harder; we'll try to write some new mosh and do more shows. At... Read more » |
Lighttown beatdown

5 weeks after our Area51 adventures we were invited to unite metalcore and wrestling at dynamo. After some hot and sweaty hardcore show wrestling matches we did what we do best: pounding our brutal and heavy chords through the venue. Nihilistic closed up shop with their seamless virtuosity and humoristic presentation. It was a nice party... Read more » |
Area fiftymosh

Last week played at the Area 51 skate park. The place looked really nice and our sound wasn’t that bad either. We shipped in our usual local friends and kicked off, opening for Strength Above All and On Fire. Although there wasn’t that much of a crowd, both bands played really well. It was a nice evening with a nice skate run in the, at... Read more » |

After WTF Distro put our MCD in their (online) distro recently, 'Conquer The Demons' is now also available at the Garden Of Exile shop. There's mainly metal and metalcore in their catalog, so Dawn Of Mankind fits right in. So, if you're still in need of our demo buy one at: www.codex4.org/catalog. Well actualy, even if you already have... Read more » |
Shattered mate!

After a period of almost 4 months of scratching ass and playing poker, we decided it was about time we did another show. It just happened to be so that there still was an empty spot to fill up in Deventer. After an almost epic journey across two of Holland's fine provinces, we finally arrived at the venue. Nice place, authentic setting;... Read more » |
